Mr. Aruna Abeyakoon

Mr. Aruna Abeyakoon is a technology and commercial leader, community builder, and proud Antonian whose professional and civic journey reflects a strong commitment to innovation, leadership, and service.

A proud Antonian and student leader who rose to serve as Deputy Head Prefect of St. Anthony’s College, Kandy, Aruna remains closely connected to the Antonian community and its longstanding traditions of leadership, service, and camaraderie. Professionally, he has spent over two decades in the global gaming technology industry, holding leadership roles focused on data-driven innovation, product insights, and strategic analytics. 

Beyond his professional career, Aruna has played an active role in community leadership within the Sri Lankan diaspora in the United States. He served as the Inaugural President and Trustee of the Sri Lanka America Association of Las Vegas and later as a Board Member and President of the Sri Lanka America Chamber of Commerce, contributing to initiatives that strengthen economic, professional, and cultural ties between Sri Lanka and the United States.

Aruna is the Founder President of SACKOBA-USA, where he works to strengthen the Antonian alumni network in North America while advancing mentorship, scholarship, and community initiatives that support the next generation of leaders.
