Shevon is a financial professional with extensive experience in financial analysis and
revenue recognition within the biotechnology industry. Prior to transitioning into the
biotech sector, he worked as a Senior Auditor at KPMG, one of the global “Big Four”
audit firms. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from San José
State University in San Jose, California, where he received the Dean’s Honors award.
In addition to his professional career, Shevon has contributed his expertise to several
non-profit organizations by volunteering as a bookkeeper and tax consultant, as well as
assisting in the development of accounting systems.
Shevon is also a proud Antonian from the batch of 2006. During his time at the College,
he held several leadership and committee roles, including serving in the Catholic
Students’ Federation, World Heritage Organization Society, and the St. John’s
Ambulance Brigade. He was also actively involved in the Mass Communication Society,
Computer Club, and the Commerce Society. A dedicated athlete, Shevon was a
member of the college Table Tennis team from 2000 to 2005, representing the school in
the Under-15 to Under-19 age categories. Earlier in his school years, he led the Dark
Blue House at the primary school annual sports meet in 1998 and was a member of the
Eastern Band from 1997 to 1998.
Beyond his professional and academic achievements, Shevon is a devoted husband
and father who enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family. A passionate
music enthusiast, he currently plays drums for a local Sri Lankan band in Austin, Texas.
