Looking back at last December, we fondly remember the incredible time and camaraderie shared at the SACKOBA BALL USA 2023 in Las Vegas. The success of the inaugural event was a testament to the vibrant spirit and enthusiasm of all who attended.
We are excited to announce the SACKOBA BALL USA 2024, which will take place on December 14th, 2024, at The Orleans Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. This year, we are honored to welcome Dr. Lakshman Denepitiya, one of the most distinguished scholars and athletes from St. Anthony's College Kandy, as our esteemed Guest of Honor. His presence will add a special touch to the occasion.
With entertainment provided by the talented Skyline Band, guests can look forward to an unforgettable night of dancing, celebration, and memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t miss this opportunity to join us for an evening of elegance, fun, and community spirit!
Our Story
In November 2022, a tight-knit group of friends embarked on an initiative to connect with Antonians living in the USA. As our passion and dedication blossomed, we officially established the organization during the Inaugural General Meeting on November 15th, 2023. The Inaugural Executive Committee took their oath on December 3rd in Las Vegas, presided over by Senior Judge Kalani Hoo of North Las Vegas District Court, in the presence of a large gathering of Old Antonians. Currently, we actively collaborate with all SACKOBA branches and the broader Antonian community.
